Job description
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the psychosocial services for patients of PrairieCare
- Provide a comprehensive range of services to patients and families
- Seek to enhance the functioning of patients
- Provide individual and family therapy
- Coordinate care with outpatient providers.
- Consult with other clinic providers and provide a unique perspective in the areas of family systems and/or social work theory
- Provide coverage for other therapists as needed
- Potentially supervise Master’s level family therapy, counseling or social work interns (based on qualifications)
Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- Current independent licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- 3-5 years of post-licensed experience preferred
- In good standing with the professional board
- Oriented and educated in gender, culture and age appropriate care
- Experience in intensive psychiatric and addiction healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate in written and verbal form
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
