Advance Embedded Engineer

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell HBT. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of software engineering group (local and globally) of R&D.
• Give valuable technical insights for projects and propose design enhancements.
• Implement best practices for design and development.
• Mentor-less experienced engineers.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering or related.
• 3 years’ minimum experience
• Experience in application-level development using POSIX C for ARM based CPUs using Linux
• Basic understanding on C++
• Experience in any RTOS based application development(SMX or Linux Preferable)
• Experience with multi-threading & inter-process communication mechanisms
• Working knowledge of Linux file handling, memory management & process mechanism
• Working knowledge of basic computer networking principles TCP/IP, UDP & Socket programming
• Experience in debugging program crashes, memory leaks, thread deadlocks etc
• Working knowledge in shell scripting language
• Understanding of build systems like Makefile
• Working knowledge in serial communication protocols like RS232, RS485, SPI, etc
• Experience with one or more debugging tools: GDB, Valgrind, etc
• Experience with version control systems like GIT
