Pay Grade/Pay Range: 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 42,140.80 Midpoint - $ 61,110.40

Department/Organization: 301105 - Development

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Advancement Coordinator is responsible for development, implementation, and administration of Advancement-related programs including: Alumni relations, Annual Fund, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Board of Visitors, Scholarship, Stewardship and Gift fund.

Additional Department Summary: The Assistant Director of Annual Giving designs, implements, and executes new programs that generate annual fund income for The University of Alabama. Develops and manages crowdfunding, which includes an annual Day of Giving. Develops and manages annual faculty and staff campaign.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations; OR Master's degree and some experience in development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations.

Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to establish priorities. Basic knowledge of the usage of personal computers and standard application software (word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management programs).

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data analysis, market segmentation and direct mail solicitation preferred.
