TreeRunner Adventure Park is looking for upbeat, motivated Park Monitoring team members for the upcoming season! Join our team to see what working in nature will do for you.

Note: This a part-time position with full-time opportunities.

SUMMARY
The Park Monitor position provides guests with a safe experience through safety instruction and course inspections, as well as assists guests on trails and aerials. Safety is our number one priority, and there is a strong focus on guest experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

• Must pass a safety certification test - training and study materials provided
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to recognize an unsafe situation
• Ability to provide clear instructions
• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Strong focus on professionalism
• Proficient in operating computers and handheld devices

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Treats every guest as a superstar.
• Ensures all social distancing guidelines are strictly adhered to.
• Conducts daily course inspections.
• Harnesses guests and maintains all guest gear.
• Instructs guests regarding the course and park safety.
• Assists guests on practice stations and all Aerial and if applicable, Junior Park trails.
• Assist guests as needed on aerial trails, platforms, and ladders.
• Monitors all guest activities within the park.
• Fairly applies all park rules and course guidelines.
• Completes daily janitorial duties and “side-work”.
• Completes grounds work and light maintenance tasks.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists with all park events and activities, and duties as assigned.

WORK CONDITIONS
Environment:

• Outdoors, exposed to weather and high places; very hot or cold temperatures.
• Wears safety equipment such as harnesses, gloves, helmets.

Physical Demands:

• Physical demands of the position include but are not limited to extensive walking, standing, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to tolerate heights.
• Must be able to lift or carry 30 pounds.
• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
