Responsibilities and Duties

After school program Site Managers are responsible for nurturing positive, collaborative relationships with the school day administration, faculty, cafeteria and custodial staff as well as parents and students while providing direction and motivation to a team of KYDS' activity leaders, instructors and coaches.

The position is responsible for ensuring students are well supervised and for planning/implementation of program activities, special events, coaching a small team of employees, upholding school day behavior expectations during after school hours, as well as maintaining organized documentation, and accurate attendance and incident reporting for one KYDS Elementary School after school program site when school is in session.

This location serves about 120 students daily so you must have the ability to positively manage student behavior, motivate and oversee a large group.

HOURS:

12:30pm until 6:00pm, Monday - Friday, 28.5 to 29 hours per week.

REQUIRED:

• Experience working with youth (school based, youth group, summer camp or after-school program experience)
• Experience as a shift leader, supervisor or manager (any field)
• Completion of some college units (AA degree or higher preferred)
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID -19
• First Aid/CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire). KYDS will reimburse you for the cost of an approved course.

If offered position:

• Must obtain and clear a Department of Justice/FBI criminal background check. *We reimburse you for this fee once hired.
• Must provide certification of negative TB status dated within the past 60 days. *We reimburse you for this fee once hired.

Benefits

$30 monthly cell phone reimbursement during months when school is in session.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
