Overview:

Youth Leaders will be responsible for planning & implementing activities for youth, ages 5-12, that responds to their individual needs & interests, that encourages them to develop friendships, work cooperatively, communicate effectively, & increase their self-image. Youth Leaders will offer classroom activities, team building & group activities, community-service projects, & outdoor recreational opportunities. They will be responsible for proper supervision & interaction with the youth, maintaining effective group management techniques, encouraging participation from all youth, & having fun!!

Qualifications:

• Must have/or obtain: Food Handlers Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age & able to successfully pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willing to drive a 15 passenger van daily to transport children from school.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with parents, youth, & co-workers.
• Must possess at least three strong leadership qualities.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.

Schedule:

• Full Time Position: 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday 9:30-5:30 Additional morning hours may occasionally be available, especially during school closure times.
• Part Time Position: 25 hours per week, Monday thru Friday 12:30-5:30

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
