We have openings for friendly and detail-orientated individuals to join our Banquet/Events team at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel!

Our AM Banquet position is mainly scheduled for early morning start times to ensure an outstanding breakfast and lunch experience for guests attending conferences at our hotel.

Our Banquet/Event Servers have an important role in ensuring exceptional service for guests during business and group meetings, and galas and social events such as weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, etc.

Our Banquet/Event Server opportunity is a great part-time position for extra money or to get an introduction into hospitality and events.

Daily activities of our Banquet/Event Servers include tasks such as setting up tables (glassware, plate ware and silverware) and buffets, refreshing food and beverage buffets, serving food and beverage, bussing tables, breaking down and properly storing and caring for banquet equipment, cleaning and maintaining function spaces, responding to guest requests in a timely manner, etc.

Successful Banquet/Event Servers will have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. A passion for ensuring an outstanding guest experience is required, but experience is not.
