Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for transporting patients, cleaning the OR suite after cases, setting up the surgical room and stocking equipment and supplies for surgical cases. The Anesthesia Technician is an integral member of the perioperative team and he/she works in a collaborative role with the circulating RN and the perioperative team to ensure a safe and optimal patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• You will set up lines and equipment for surgical procedure.
• You will troubleshoot anesthesia machinery.
• You will assist with insertion of lines, intubation and pain blocks.
• You will stock anesthesia carts, assistsin inventory control of supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• You will assist the charge nurses by doing whatever is needed in the department to maintain efficiencies.
• You will assist the team with the decontamination and cleaning process.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• 1 year of OR experience highly preferred

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
