Pet Emergency Hospital are further expanding our team of Animal Care Assistants within our Out of Hours Emergency Care Hospital

Full time Animal Care Assistants needed – 36 hours per week. We have 2 animal care positions available to join our inpatient team

Main duties will include:

• General animal care duties mainly focused on inpatient care
• General reception duties when required
• Assist our Vets and nurses with procedures
• Other general animal/veterinary care tasks

What We at PEH Need:

• FETAC Level 5 or equivalent in Animal Care required
• Previous work experience in an animal veterinary hospital
• Ability to multi-task and perform tasks to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent animal handling skills
• Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of work
• Strong ability to communicate effectively under pressure
• Ability to use initiative and highly motivated
• Passion for the well-being of animals
• Ability to multi-task and perform tasks to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
• An effective team player who can work well within a team.
