MMUUSD is seeking an Elementary Literacy Instructional Coach to work with teachers, interventionists, & special educators at all five of our PK-4 elementary schools through coaching cycles, small group professional development, and other avenues, to support ongoing instructional improvement efforts. This individual will also work closely with the PK-8 district coach team, building principals, and assistant superintendent to ensure the successful implementation of district initiatives. Candidates for this position should have a strong background with elementary school ELA teaching and experience with leading teacher professional learning opportunities. Additionally, this position will require a robust systems-level understanding of universal design for learning (UDL), formative assessment, and multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). Preference will be given to those who hold a reading specialist license. *This position will be partially grant funded.
