Job description
The West Seneca Central School District has anticipated vacancies for the upcoming school year in the Education of Children with Handicapping Conditions - General Special Education tenure area. The positions will be probationary appointments for successful candidates who are certified to teach Special Education at the secondary level, grades 6-12. There are multiple assignments available as the positions are for various classroom settings.
Salary and benefits are paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate planning and preparation, instructional skills, effective classroom management and be motivated to engage in continuous professional development.
Job Qualifications
Required Certification: Students with Disabilities 7-12, Special Education K-12
Additional Certification Preferred: Students with Disabilities 1-6
