Monarch Power Supply is hiring a Upfit Diesel Tech in Ridgefield, Washington.

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Site: Ridgefield, WA Monarch Power Supply

What you will do as a Upfit Diesel Tech (Training Provided):

• Install value-added components to loose engines and generators to meet customer requirements and design specifications.
• Light production assembly, including: drilling, bolting and light fabrication.
• Interpret basic installation drawings and work as a team to accomplish installations.
• Ability to read detailed equipment and part diagrams/prints of Cummins and OEM products and verify torque values referenced from established engineered guidelines.
• General shop maintenance such as inspecting extension cords, replacing air lines, general maintenance, daily JSA (Job Safety Analysis) reports, welder inspections and daily time sheets.
• Comfortable working at heights using fall protection and proper PPE

What we need from you:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Critical thinking skills

Ability to multi-task

Ability to follow instructions

Ability to read wiring schematics

Work in a clean, safe, and organized manner

Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Office

Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Training Provided On the Following:

Basic components of diesel engines.

Proper use of hand, air and electric tools for cleaning purposes.

Standard and metric measurements pertaining to tools and fasteners.

Assembly of diesel engines.

Primary Physical Requirements of a Upfit Diesel Tech:

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods

Pulling, pushing, kneeling, bending, stooping and repetitive use of hands

Ability to operate hand tools consistently throughout the day

Operate/drive small machinery, including cranes to lift heavy objects

Pay: $19.36 - $27.59 per hour
