As an Area Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying market growth opportunities in order to secure new Grocery, Food Service, and Convenience Store accounts within the Lawton, OK area.

Job Responsibilities

• Effectively manages DSD sales reps and independent distributors.
• Drives company or personal vehicle between company and customer or potential customer locations to perform job duties
• Gain thorough understanding of customer's business through needs analysis and recommendation of creative solutions
• Presents company offerings through product demonstrations and sales proposals.
• Coordinates smooth customer setup and transition to regular route service based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules
• Records activity and submits reporting through CRM system, leverages CRM data.
• Participates in trade shows and special events to promote the company's products and services
• Stays informed of market trends and competitive position in the industry

Desired Experience

• 2 years of outside sales and cold calling experience
• Ability to prepare documents and reports with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

Desired Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
