As women engage with the vision of Arise, their hearts expand with passion for Jesus and His heart for the world. Groups of women from everywhere are going to be mobilized to catch the fire of a movement to call women from the sidelines, connect other women in their cities, and commission them to bring the world an encounter with Jesus. A massive harvest awaits, leading to the vision of 70 teams of women in 70 different cities multiplying and moving what was birthed through the vision of Arise in 2019.

Position Summary

In order to help East-West spread the word about Arise and the incredible calling that the Lord is calling his daughters to, we are seeking an Arise Marketing Specialist. This individual will provide powerful and compelling marketing materials that enable East-West’s Arise Movement to effectively communicate its mission, objectives, goals, results, and opportunities for involvement through print and digital mediums. This position will work closely with the Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator as well as the remainder of the Marketing/Communications team. Additionally, this position may devote some of their time on duties for other areas within East-West including short-term teams, recruiting/mobilization, church partners, and development.

As an ambassador of faith in Christ and rooted in Biblical principles, the Marketing Specialist will actively minister to East-West leadership, staff, partners, and the community in a manner that exhibits Christ-character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within discipline is highly preferred
• 2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role preferred
• 2-3 years of ministry/nonprofit experience preferred
• Devoted to growing a personal relationship with Jesus (1 Peter 2:2)
• Flexibility, focus, and a strong work ethic are essential (Colossians 3:23)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including proficiency in evaluating and prioritizing issues
• Ability to follow through and juggle multiple tasks and projects
• Conscientious and detailed
• Ability to take initiative within scope of job duties
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar and spelling
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality, poise, and tact
• Ability to be respectful and discerning of confidentiality and privacy
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment (1 Peter 3:8)
• Ability to work well under pressure and against deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office and Outlook and other standard office software
