(HLSS) is currently accepting applications for a full- time, Armed Patrol officer in South Orange County, providing Armed Patrol Security for the South OC Beaches within the City of Laguna Beach, Ca. Specializing in remote and rural patrol services, we handle a wide variety of calls ranging from property crimes, vandalism, and trespassing to hazard mitigation, medical aid calls, crowd control, and emergency response and situation monitoring to natural disasters including civil unrest, wildfires, and weather emergencies.

Qualified Applicants for this position must have two years experience or more in Armed Security Patrol, Military, Law Enforcement. Applicants must Possess the following (all licenses and permits must be valid, current, and in good standing):

* California Guard Card
* Exposed Firearm Permit
* Pepper Spray/Chemical Agent permit
* Baton permit
* California drivers license
* Clean driving record

Knowledge and training in following is highly desirable:
* EMT-B, TCCC/Combat Life Saver, Stop The Bleed and/or CPR and AED training
* PC 832 training or retired/reserve law enforcement
* California CCW/HR 218/LEOSA
* Executive, Close, Personal Protection experience or training
* Taser training
* Less-lethal training

* Must have acceptable Knowledge in the following:

• Computer skills
• Report Writing/Grammer
• Following Direction
• Able to work unsupervised
• Communication Skills with the public
• Radio/Incident codes

* Must be Knowledgeable in “Laws of Arrest” as prescribed by BSIS.

* Must be Knowledgeable in the “Use of Deadly Force” as prescribed by BSIS.

* Upon Employment Individual must possess the following equipment:

• Duty belt with applicable equipment holders
• Handcuffs

Pay range for this position is $22.50 to $25.00 per hour DOE.

Must be able to work the following set shifts/times:
F/T/Time as Follows: TUES thru SAT -6:30pm-2:30am. or SUN Thru THURS Note* Work week subject to change as needed. Current Schedule/shift Includes Partial Weekends

Job Types: Full-Time, Contract

Salary: Starting Hourly pay rate for this position is $22.50 to $25.00 per hour DOE, and includes medical benefits and equipment stipend.

Schedule:

• 8-9 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Armed Security Patrol: 2 years (Preferred)
