We are seeking talented and passionate artists specializing in paper mache and ceramics (particularly slip casting) to join our creative team. As an artist, you will be responsible for creating thematic objects in the medium of paper mache or clay based on our unique designs. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistic skills and contribute to the production of visually stunning and meaningful pieces.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to understand the creative vision and concept for each project.
  • Use your expertise in paper mache and ceramics to bring the designs to life, ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
  • Employ various techniques and processes to sculpt, mold, and shape objects that reflect the desired aesthetic.
  • Experiment with different materials, textures, and finishes to achieve the desired visual and tactile effects.
  • Pay attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in proportions, dimensions, and overall appearance.
  • Work efficiently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and expertise in paper mache and ceramics, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and artistic abilities.
  • Proficiency in sculpting, molding, and shaping techniques specific to paper mache and ceramics.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment used in paper mache and ceramics work.
  • Creative mindset and a keen eye for detail, form, and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively translate design concepts into tangible objects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work on various thematic projects with different styles and requirements.
