Job Title: Soldering Technician

Job Overview: We are a small and growing company in need of a skilled soldering technician to join our team. As a soldering technician, you will be responsible for soldering circuit boards using both lead and lead-free solder. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in soldering or working with SMT components and will possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Soldering circuit boards using both lead and lead-free solder
• Inspecting soldered connections for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshooting and repairing faulty solder joints as needed
• Maintaining and organizing soldering equipment and work area
• Communicating with other team members regarding any issues or concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in soldering required
• Familiarity with both lead and lead-free solder
• Ability to discern Pin 1 on components and PCB
• Ability to read and interpret BOM and gerber files
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is extremely helpful but not required

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

• Ability to perform delicate and precise movements with hands and fingers

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
