Job description
Assembly Position for a fast-paced, rapidly growing Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive Component Supplier within our North American Technical Center in Grand Rapids, MI.
Responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. Requires mathematical, basic engineering, and technical skills to interpret plans. The Assembler is responsible for verifying correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items. May also be responsible for managing parts inventory and basic reporting. The ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment is beneficial in this role, as is an understanding of basic engineering principles and a knowledge of safety procedures.
