Locksley Farmstead Cheese Co. is seeking an assistant cheesemaker to join our established creamery. We currently produce 11 varieties of artisan cow's milk cheese using milk from our own pastured dairy herd. Our quickly growing business requires some additional team members who are passionate about cheese and local agriculture! Experience in the dairy industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A strong attention to detail, ability to strictly follow procedures, math skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. are required to perform well in this job. This position could be full-time or part-time. Compensation is commensurate with experience and can be negotiated on an hourly or salary basis. Salaried positions may be eligible for additional benefits.
