ESI is now hiring an Assistant Controller, as a Hybrid Remote role in Palm Beach County, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Controller is directly responsible for all financial reporting as well as assisting in management of cash inflow and outflow. This role is split between on-site and remote with 2-3 in office days weekly, and remaining days remote.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance or a Related Field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field.
• Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and accounting systems.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in basic office and accounting software programs.
• Detail Oriented: ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Management with cash inflows and outflows.
• Ensure Cash is sufficient for all upcoming payments
• Create draw requests
• Creating financial statements for upper management.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for review.
• Assisting with budgeting.
• Ensuring all accounting practices follow legal guidelines and established accounting principles.
• Assisting with billing
• Working with the company financial team to create internal controls and policies.
