Assistant Dining Room Manager
A full-time position with dual focus in host supervision and training as well as floor management.
Responsibilities include:
- Hiring/Training/Supervising Host Staff
- Ensuring hourly sanitization log is maintained
- Relaying important messages to the appropriate persons
- Ensuring deliveries are checked in/organized/invoices filed
- Overseeing service in the absence of/along with the DRM/GM
- Making sure staff is staying on task in regards to sidework/utilizing the sidework book and spot checking completed sidework
- Maintaining inventory of Retail items (mugs, sweatshirts, fleeces, blankets, beanies, etc.)
- Performing host duties as required (answering phone, taking messages, making reservations, handling take-out orders, etc)
- Communicating pertinent information from Resy (printing daily reservation sheet for kitchen, making and relaying information re server sections, handling lg party inquiries 20 or less, etc)
- Relaying private/semi-private event requests to the Event Manager and General Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates with a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Open Table, and Aloha are strongly encouraged to apply.
Hierarchy: Reports directly to GM
Schedule: 40 hours with overtime possible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
