Job Summary:
The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for supporting the Executive Director to ensure the stability and success of the Community.
Essential Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implement mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, ensure development of sound programs, best practices, policies, and procedures relating to marketing, public relations, resident services, fiscal/budgetary matters, health care services, facilities management and development, risk management, quality assurance, hospitality and first impressions.
- Work with community team and Bridge leadership to enhance our Family, Resident and Associate experience. Seek out opportunities to surprise and delight each group. Set up, process and implement the following – Associate Recognition and Family/Resident Communication, Appreciation and Referral programs.
- Ensure all Associates demonstrate character and behavior that lives up to and drives our company mission and vision. Practice joint accountability to ensure our Residents, Associates and Families are served well and feel at home in the community.
- Participate in and hold team accountable to rigorous onboarding and orientation standards.
- Obtain and demonstrate knowledge of the Spark Book, Spark Lifestyle and Wellness philosophy and its inherent core values. Support and participate in Spark Book Culture Initiatives (e.g. assist with feedback groups, assist in new initiatives, encourage Residents and act as champions of fun).
- Promotes and protects residents’ rights, assists residents to make informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, supports residents’ independent expression, choice and decision-making consistent with all pertinent laws regarding residents’ rights. Reports suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- CORE Training Certification Required
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible management experience in the senior living or long-term care industry or related field
