Job Title: Assistant General Manager

About the Company:
We are a premier Inn and Retreat center located in the beautiful mountains of Idyllwild, California. Our facility offers guests a peaceful and serene environment to relax and unwind, with comfortable accommodations and a wide range of wellness programs and activities. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to help us manage daily operations and provide exceptional service to our guests. This position pays up to $70,000 per year and includes health insurance coverage.

Job Overview:
The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of the Inn and Retreat center, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is committed to providing a welcoming and positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager with managing all aspects of the Inn and Retreat center, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration

Supervise staff and ensure efficient and effective operations

Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction

Manage inventory and ordering to maintain appropriate levels of supplies and minimize waste

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility

Train and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards

Assist with hiring and scheduling of staff

Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability

Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations related to the hospitality industry

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality management, with a focus on guest services

Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred

Strong leadership and team management skills

Passion for providing exceptional guest service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance operations

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
