Assistant Machine Operator:

Located in North Phoenix, we are a wholesale cabinet manufacturer who creates a complete range of organizational solutions for the home. Description

• Demonstrate close attention to detail: quality control, safety protocols, and proper machine tooling.
• Assisting a machine operator: catching, QC, etc
• General machine maintenance: cleaning and inspection for proper function and safety
• Willingness to cross train and learn new skills; perform whatever functions are needed to ensure production consistency.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assigned as needed

Physical Qualifications:

• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds independently and multiple times daily
• Able to work safely and steadily in one location for up to 8 hours
• Able to comfortably bend, crouch, reach and stretch
• Able to handle boards of varying weights and sizes
• Possesses strong visual acuity
• Able to tolerate an environment where sawdust particles are present
• Possesses strong manual dexterity

Position Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast paced environment while paying attention to detail
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have an excellent attendance record
• Must be willing and able to follow all company policies
• Meet productivity, quality and safety goals
• Follow directions and completes paperwork correctly and neatly
• Actively participate in all team meetings and events
• Complete training and achieve an acceptable level of proficiency within first 30 days of employment
