We are currently looking for an Assistant Portfolio Manager Manager whose main role will be to assist Investment Managers in their investment decision making by producing timely and accurate portfolio data and analytics, supporting them in various operational elements of trading, managing and maintaining internal data files used in the investment decision making process, and providing general assistance to Investment Managers when required.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Ownership of the Fund Set Up process for new instrument set ups across the Investment Team, working closely with Operations and other departments.
2. Assisting in the production of Portfolio analytics for portfolios. Task involves uploading data to systems such as Style Analytics, creating fund of fund look-through reports and assisting Investment Managers create holdings-based style/risk reports.
3. Manage and maintain internal fund database of portfolio holdings to aid in the production of portfolio level summary reports
4. Manage and maintain specific files used to support client meetings and investment manager decision making
5. Assist in the production and collation of investment materials used in various client and internal governance meetings
6. Create bespoke content as required for internal and client reporting purposes from time to time.
7. Supporting Investment Managers respond to adhoc queries or tasks from time to time
8. Continued professional development in support of competency assessments.

What We Are Looking For

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications required for this position

• Graduate and/or finance related professional qualification
• Some experience working in an Investment or Financial services environment
• An interest and basic understanding of the workings of investment markets and fund management
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Qualifications: Working toward a professional qualification is desired
