The purpose of the position is to assist in the management of a Retail Outlet with full responsibility for ensuring retail best practice across all areas is delivered in store, that agreed customer satisfaction initiatives are delivered in store and all targets financial and operational are achieved along with the management and motivation of the retail sales consultants.

Expectations From The Role:
-
Setting and agreeing sales targets with Retail Store Manager
-
Assist Retail Store Manager in the development of in store layouts and store fit out programme.
-
Achievement of in-store targets across all areas, sales, wages, stock loss, customer satisfaction and stockholding.
-
Assist the Retail Store Manager in the recruitment and management of retail team.
-
Liason and feedback with the product departments on all initiatives run through the store.

Liason with marketing departments on all sales initiatives both national and local.

Preparation and delivery of weekly reports to Sales Manager

Motivation, training and development of sales consultants.

Implementation of customer satisfaction initiatives through direct sales channel

Overall achievement of all budget targets
Requirements For A Successful Application:

In depth knowledge of the retail environment.

Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and sales objectives.

Ability to manage and develop a n instore team

Demonstrated understanding of the nature and importance of sales and customer service.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
