Tri-C Construction Co., Inc. is the construction arm of a well-established commercial construction and real estate development company with a long history of successfully building and operating multifamily housing projects.

We are currently recruiting an assistant superintendent for multifamily projects in the Greenville, South Carolina, with the opportunity for continued growth and development on future work in other regions upon completion of this project.

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Project Superintendent and assist in oversight of the field operations on site, from project start to completion, along with site safety, quality control, and overall job management.

Requirements:
  • Assist in management of day-to-day job site activities to ensure that scheduled completion date is met.
  • Work closely with Project Superintendent to review schedules and manage project logistics.
  • Ensuring that all quality and safety standards are met, and that work conforms to the project plans and specifications.
  • Conducting daily inspections of the project and completing and maintaining daily reports.
  • Assist with weekly subcontractor coordination meetings, requiring all subcontractors currently in engaged in construction activities or those with activities scheduled in the next two weeks to be in attendance.
  • Communicate daily with all subcontractor foremen the expectations of a clean and organized job site.
  • Familiarize yourself with project design documents, approved submittals, and daily progress of subcontractors.
  • Complete daily logs, daily photos, safety inspections, entering information into Procore Project Management Software.
  • Inspecting units on a daily basis for deficiencies, cleanliness, and safety defects.
  • Attending and/or conducting regularly held meetings with team members, customers, suppliers, and/or subcontractors.
  • Require all work to be performed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

  • Large-scale wood-frame construction experience preferred.
  • Strong technical abilities with scheduling software. Procore experience and certifications a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Read construction plans.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
