Sweet Berry Cafe is an upscale breakfast cafe open daily from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We are looking to add an Assistant Manager to our growing team. We were rated "Best of the Year" by the Daily Herald..

We are seeking a team leader who is well polished and possess excellent customer service, organizational, speaking and coaching skills. Do you have the right attitude and an ability to be positive and flexible?

The Assistant Team Leader position is an hourly positions that is scheduled between 30-34 hours per week and receives a set schedule with two days off in a row (weekdays). No nights.

Duties Include:

-Opening and Closing of restaurant. Good candidates become Key Holders.

-Supervising shift operations and staff of up to 25 people.

-Promptly and professionally handle guest comments.

-Communicate employee issues/concerns to upper management.

-Operate POS efficiently and handle cash drawer.

-Seat dining and maintain an organized Host Desk.

-Take, bag, & process Carryout Orders correctly.

-Expedite food orders for dining room and carry out.

-Assist manager in training FOH employees.

-Able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs.

-Two days off in a row. Set schedule. No nights.

Qualifications:

-1 year in a restaurant. Experience in a Breakfast restaurant is a plus but not necessary.

-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

-Able to handle and address customer issues in a calm, professional manner, diffusing any difficult situation.

-Able to work Early Mornings, Weekends and Holidays.

-Basic knowledge on operating POS system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
