The Goddard School in Sparks is looking for a committed, hard-working and fun individual to join our Goddard Family as a Toddler Teacher working with children 18-24 months old. Compensation: $16-$17.50 per hour

Daily Job Responsibilities:

• Create a fun and safe learning environment for children to Learn for Life and Learn for Fun!
• Create age-appropriates lessons and implement using our play based approach.
• Play and engage with students on a personal level…aka GET PAID TO PLAY!!!
• Maintain state and Goddard ratios throughout the day (we will NEVER leave your room out of ratio).
• Communicate on a professional level with parents by documenting daily student notes and milestones through our Tadpoles App.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers to create a innovative work environment.
• Adhere to The Goddard School’s Quality Assurance requirements by maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment

Qualifications

• Relevant job experience, 1 year (Preferred)
• Early childhood education, 1 year (Preferred)
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and activities
• Energetic, child-friendly personality
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• Highly organized, professional and punctual
• Must be available to work any 8 hours between 7 am to 6 pm (school hours)
• MUST be a team player
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
