Assistant Unit Supervisor
Earn up to $38.00/hour, depending on experience + Sign-On Bonus!

If you are prepared to take the next step, HFSL has an immediate opening for an Assistant Unit Supervisor on our Sub-Acute Rehab (Med/Surge) Unit at our campus in historic Bethlehem, PA. This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) dayshift position (7:00 am – 3:00 pm). Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

HFSL provides short term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care by an interdisciplinary team of professionals. HFSL is a multi-faceted nursing center and a “Preferred Provider” of the St. Luke’s University Health Network and Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Job duties include:

• Assistance with clinical rounds and an emphasis on high-risk patients.
• Maintaining unit records (i.e., RCC, MDS, immunizations, pharmacy, etc.)
• Completion of documentation and audits of Electronic Health Records.
• Timely follow-up to patient/family concerns ensuring optimal customer service.
• Responding to and evaluating emergencies (i.e., Code Blue, falls, etc.)
• Communicate and implement changes and education.
• Maintain standards of patient care in alignment with our mission and vision.

Education and Experience:

• Licensed RN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Must have the confidence and ability to lead and mentor staff.
