Assistant Vice President, Dividend Income Manager

The Securities Processing Division in our Jersey City office is seeking to hire an Assistant Vice President, Dividend Income Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a team to ensure client postings are timely and accurate
- Review Dividend/Income process to ensure current activities meet all regulatory requirements
- Ensure all new regulatory or industry initiatives are met
- Manage daily income processing activities are completed correctly and on time
- Process dividends, interest, principal, and maturity proceeds
- Process broker claims and charges from different entities
- Perform tax reporting functions, foreign withholding processing, optional dividend processing and related cost basis adjustments
- Submit elections to DTCC
- Publish UIT rollover announcements and processes instructions
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Math, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial services operations
- Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint required
- Proficient Excel skills preferred (must know VLOOKUP)
- Knowledge of SQL a plus, but not required
- Excellent math, reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with DTCC, Bank of NY Mellon, Phase 3 are preferred
- Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
- Strong collaboration and team building skills
- Experience in Financial Services, particularly broker/dealer required

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $100,000-$175,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance.
