As the Health Services Director is the licenses administrator over the health services portion of our Touchmark community. You will oversee the management and maintenance of health care for all residents living in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. You will be accountable for such duties as employee recruitment and development within the care teams; budget and profitability of the licensed care programs; ensuring compliance with state and federal agencies; and acting as a liaison between residents, physicians, families, and appropriate health care resources.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be committed to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), and have the desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree and have at least four years of management experience
  • Be accountable for the planning and coordination of resident care, employee development, and continued quality improvement in our licensed care neighborhoods
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Be proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
