Position Summary

Assist and support the Director of the Caroline Huber Holistic Wellness Center in the daily operation of the wellness center, program development and event management and coordinate mental health and social services with community partners at the Wellness Center. Develop and maintain a partner database for use as a monitoring and reporting tool, and supervise part-time employees, student workers and volunteers. This position is integral to creating a healing space for students, employees, and community members at the Center by assisting Center attendees in navigating complex systems on and off campus.

Description of Duties

  • Assist the Director in the development and maintenance of the Wellness Center’s partnerships, programs, and events by participating in meetings on and off campus and managing administrative follow-up.
  • Coordinate with community partners and internal offices regarding the on-site delivery of mental health and social services.
  • Secure required community partner and practitioner/presenter documentation and service agreements such as MOUs, W-9’s, COIs, and site licenses in collaboration with the Legal, Finance and Purchasing departments. Process requisitions for services and assist in tracking expenses.
  • Manage logistics for Center programs and events including space reservations, registration, events schedules, food service and pre-post programming surveys, and attend events, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a partner database and prepare reports as needed.
  • Participate as a member of the department’s planning team to provide input on programs, services, activities, and processes and assist with follow-up, implementation, and promotion.
  • Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations and routine office functions of the Wellness Center. Maintain broad knowledge about the college and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Supervise part-time employees, student workers and volunteers and oversee coverage of the reception desk.
  • Oversee facilities needs for the center and submit school dude requests and other needed documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Two years of related experience with a proven ability to work effectively and develop positive relationships with diverse populations of students, faculty, administrators, staff, community members and community partners and organizations of varying ages and diverse backgrounds.
  • At least two years of related experience in an educational environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work in multi-project, fast-paced environment and meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Well organized with great time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to address problems through teamwork.
  • Impeccable verbal, written, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office at an intermediate level and the ability to learn and utilize specialized programs essential to the department.
  • Must have ability to travel locally.

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations

Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.

Working conditions are generally favorable. Some night and weekend hours may be needed and with some local travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,655.00 per year
