Job description

We are looking for an associate dentist to work PT ( two days /wk ) to start with. There is a potential to have a FT position and even future ownership. Minimm of two years experience preferred. Qualified new grads can also be considered for this position. The candidate should have these qualifications:

  • D.D.S. or D.M.D.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia
  • Certified in CPR
  • Complies with all office, local, state, and American Dental Association regulations, protocols, and procedures
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Compassionate and caring of patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including fillings, root canals, crowns, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry
  • Ability to work with CEREC and iTero scans
  • Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health
  • Communicate with dental staff regarding patient treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications as necessary
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $87.00 - $100.00 per hour
