Associate Financial Advisor for David Rossett, CFP®, WMCP®, RICP®, ChFC®, CLU®

A wealth management practice based in midtown is looking to hire an Associate Financial Advisor. The primary responsibility of the role is to become the primary financial advisor and relationship manager on current client relationships and to develop new client relationships overtime. The right candidate should have financial planning experience. They must be a self-starter, excellent communication skills, personable and be service oriented.

This role is hybrid and must be able to commute to Midtown Manhattan a few times per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Serves as the relationship manager and/or primary Financial Advisor to a portion of the clientele of the practice
• Creates and implements financial recommendations to clients
• Generates new business (insurance and investments) from existing clients, as well as introduces new client relationships into the business through prospecting and marketing efforts
• Stays up to date and current on financial planning concepts to best serve our clients.\

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of financial services industry experience
• 3+ years of experience developing client relationships, advising clients, and developing new business
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create urgency and help clients act
• Aptitude for addressing issues in a proactive and creative manner, mediate critical issues, and lead crucial conversations using a results-focused approach
• Strong critical thinking, financial analysis and problem-solving skills required
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Series 6 or 7 and Life and Health License
• Certified Financial Planner designation preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required
