Associate Financial Representative

We help clients build a financial plan aligned with their financial goals and values and help them stick to and amend this plan through regular client reviews and dedicated, excellent service. Our actions are guided by our core values of Respect, Faith, Kindness, Hard Work, and Having Fun.

Overall function:

An Associate Financial Representative (AFR) specializes in client service and supporting the financial advisor to ensure that their focus remains on building their business. An AFR works closely with others on their team to provide ongoing support operations, planning, service, and marketing. The AFR is a liaison between the home office, financial advisor, and clients.

General Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain compliant client file folders
  • Collect and input client meeting notes
  • Conduct regular meetings with financial advisor
  • Maintain financial advisor’s calendar and confirm appointments
  • Compile meeting kits that include all materials needed for the client meetings
  • Maintain up to date client records and household demographic info in CRM
  • Manage the insurance underwriting process for clients
  • Process, or collaborate with others to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests
  • Process client service requests
  • Assemble targeted feedlists to provide marketing support for financial advisor

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years financial service or insurance industry experience preferred
  • Security licenses preferably obtained within the first year
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to change
  • Committed to professional growth and development, independent learner that seeks knowledge

Expectations and Benefits:

  • Ability to commute to job location daily
  • Work hours: Standard 40 hours, Monday-Friday
