Job description
The Citizen Developer will join the Service Product domain and focus on the product onboarding experience. This individual will be responsible for evolving the Acquiring, Platform and Rails onboarding engines and driving the current core and future integration strategy.
The ideal candidate understands the payments industry landscape (consumers, merchants, acquirers, networks, issuers, etc.), payment types & methods (credit card, debit card, ACH, new alternatives, etc.), AML/KYC standards, design thinking (client journey, UX), consumer & merchant payment channels (ecommerce, POS, etc.) and industry business models.
Finally, the ideal candidate is a highly organized and self-motivated individual who designs customer-obsessed products, manages a product release plan, flexibly adapts to internal & market forces, and has superior influencing / relationship management skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users, citizen developers, product managers, end users, developers, and other stakeholders to suggest, analyze, and design and build applications leveraging low-code software
- Outline the workflow's requirements
- Break the requirements into logical steps with a flowchart
- Using the appropriate platform, automate the steps and
- Co-relate the steps with the initial requirements
- Ensure that all end-users specific requirements are met when the app goes live
- Listen to feedback and make necessary changes in the app until it becomes the best version of itself
- Test any changes you make to applications
- Ensure firm-wide controls and governance are followed through the delivery lifecycle
- Actively participate in Community of Practice
- Commit to completing the required training within specified time constraints
