The Marketing Activation Solutions Associate Manager works with Marketing, Customer Strategy and Promotion, Customer Teams, and other Haleon cross functional partners to lead design development and provide strategic, innovative thinking and expertise around creative direction and design solutions as well as the overall promotional activation process. This role will also help to oversee, in addition to the creative asset process, the process around activating vendors critical to delivering the Marketing activation plan across their respective category.

Position requires thorough knowledge of the creative asset development process, all the vendors including CAST and their capabilities, costs, and timelines to create an overall asset development project management timeline to drive planning across the Category / Brand Teams. Must possess strong knowledge of in store communication strategies across all classes of trade. Individual applies brand, promotional, shopper, retailer and other consumer insights to deliver impactful design solutions across a variety of promotional materials including displays, promotional packaging, shelf signage, trade ads, digital assets and other national/customer specific promotional programs (FSIs, direct mail, contests, sweepstakes, refunds & rebates). They are considered the functional SME in graphic development. They also manage the budget for all creative asset development as well as the monthly reconciliation / PO management for this process.

Manage vendors associated with the Marketing activation plan for the category. Understand the timeline of deliverables and assets needed as well as ensure we are managing the budget for these vendors effectively. Open POs and track spending against these vendors and be educated across all the marketing activation vendors to help ensure that we are selecting the right vendor to effectively activate the marketing plan.

Must have excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively influence business stakeholders and determine the most appropriate design solutions for any challenge. Requires strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to be agile and thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Lead The Design Development And Manage The Execution Of High Impact Graphic Designs That Support Brand And Trade Strategies. Also Manage All Vendors Supporting Marketing Activation With Our Consumers.

  • Partner And Support Stakeholders In Achieving Their Creative Objectives By Analyzing Information, Strategizing Solutions And Translating To Strong Visual Concepts Appropriate For The Brand, Audience, Market, Retailer Or Business Context.

  • Act As The Go To Resource For All Branded Graphics And Materials. Engage, Inform And Interact With Both Internal And External Customers To Establish Design Parameters. Effectively Communicate Technical Aspects Of Projects To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences. Assign Projects To CAST And Outside Design Firms, Manage Workload And Set Priorities For All Vendor Resources.

  • Act As SME Regarding The Creative And Production Requirements For The Development Of All Collateral Materials. Responsible To Establish Specifications, Then Source And Manage The Execution Of All Promotional Materials. Understand And Negotiate With CAST And Other Vendors On Their Project Estimations As Necessary.

  • Ensure That All Designs Are Developed To Meet Vendor Technical Specifications As Well As Meet Budget And Timeline Requirements.

  • Ensure Compliance With All Haleon Processes (CCAT/Metastorm/Procurement Etc.)

  • Be The Expert For The Streamline DAM For All Creative Asset Systems Including CHAMPS And Other Asset Tools. Work With Cybrarian To Maintain Visual Library And Reference For All Display And Product Images. Leverage Existing Design Solutions Where Possible To Drive Speed To Market And Cost Efficiencies. Provide Admin Support To The Team Across These Asset Tools.

  • Financial Management For Asset Creation / Production: Manage PO Creation And Budget Reconciliation For Creative Asset Needs. Help To Establish Yearly Budget Based On Overall Category / Brand Needs And Find Optimizations.

  • Support Innovation Process On Assets For Innovation, Commercial Innovation

  • Manage Assets / Timelines For Valassis And Other Promotional Activation Vendors (Ie. Neptune, Quotient, Etc) And Help To Align Brands To Overall Scale / Category Activations

  • Champion High Performance, Challenge Conventional Thinking & Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Technology

  • Partner With Marketing And Cross Functional Teams To Provide Education For All New Team Members Regarding Merchandising & Design Solutions Team, Our Workflow And Touch Points Across The Organization.

  • Will Need To Help Build, Manage, And Meet Budget Expectations, As Well As Make Recommendations For Improvement And Efficiency Year On Year.

  • Understand Asset Production Options / Timeline And Work “Creatively” With Teams To Ensure They Select The Best Option For Delivering The Asset Or Activation They Need In A Timely Manner.

  • Help To Understand Any “Gaps” In The Process And Identify, Provide Potential Solutions, And Drive An Efficient And Consistent Approach Across The Marketing Activation Solutions Team.

  • Be Proactive In Helping Others Understand Capabilities Of Vendors / Asset Producers And Help Educate Them On The Process / Ways Of Working.

  • Be Innovative In Approach When Needed To Creatively Solve For A Particular Need – Showcase This So The Team Can Learn From “Best Practices”

  • Support Ad Hoc Brand/Marketing And Haleon Initiatives And Projects

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of design solution experience (agency, CPG, POP display, printing or related graphic design role.) General Knowledge of CPG industry and retailer requirements.
  • Budget Management experience and Financial Acumen
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Office, Excel, Word.

Preferred Qualifications:
