First Steps Recovery is the valley's preeminent treatment provider for clients suffering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. With our outpatient program in the city of Clovis and inpatient detox and residential treatment facilities in the foothills 20 miles East as well as in Clovis. We provide a full continuum of care for those individuals searching for help.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Working with a team of dedicated, focused and caring individuals to provide the highest possible quality of care for patients struggling with alcohol and substance abuse recovery.
- Working within an interdisciplinary team, provide therapy, counseling and psychoeducation for individuals and groups
- Develop treatment plans and provide case management services
Competencies:
- Ability to engage clients empathetically and without judgement
- Ability to multi-task, delegate and accept delegation, manage client care, maintain facility standards and work within a team with singular focus, to change lives
- Desire to assist those with chemical dependency in their recovery
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to work with a wide variety of symptoms related to chemical dependency and mental health
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Salary: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
