POSITION SUMMARY:

It is the responsibility of the Attendant Warehouse/Receiving to perform a variety of tasks related to the successful operation of the warehouse, including accurately receiving, performing the put-away function, and picking merchandise for outlet delivery. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack
• Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity ; report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor
• Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items
• Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
• Assemble and deliver warehouse orders
• Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)
• Assist in all physical inventories
• Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to operate a forklift (standard and automatic)
• Able to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart
• Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (1) years of warehouse and/or receiving experience

PREFERRED:

• Knowledgeable of Stratton Warren
• Experience working in a similar resort setting
• Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification

• Health Card where applicable.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Class D DSL/CDL License where applicable.

• TAM Card where applicable.
