Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of employment-related issues, including employee discipline, termination, and workplace accommodations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and mediations to reach favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of cases and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of labor and employment litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases and work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
