The Opportunity
We are looking for a recent graduate to join our rapidly expanding Financial Services Audit Team as an Audit Innovation Administrator. You will be part of the team responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of the automation of the audit procedures, making use of the newest technologies and industry best practices. You will be expected to ensure all deliverables are met within assigned deadlines and building communication lines with audit teams to ensure all issues are resolved in a satisfactory manner.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Building technical solutions for the audit department with colleagues from the innovation team
- Be involved in setting up processes and technology tools to provide greater control over audit workflows in a more efficient manner
- Working with the pricing team to price investments across a variety of engagements
- Establish effective working relationships with key contacts internally and externally
- Working on any ad hoc projects to help the innovations team
- Maintain an excellent and interactive relationship with internal partners including audit engagement teams
Skills and Attributes for success
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills and systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of data life cycle, interest in data analytics and utilizing ETL technologies (such as Alteryx) is an advantage
- Analytical and problem solving
- Excellent organisational skills, be methodical, with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate an interest in financial services/ accountancy/ technology and an ability to relate to our clients
- Some previous experience in financial services/ Bloomberg is desirable, however training will be provided
