- Location – TRSL is conveniently located near the I-10 / I-12 split on Essen Lane, away from the congestion of downtown Baton Rouge.
This position is responsible for conducting internal audits of various processes, including complex information technology (IT) and investment audits. The position also conducts agency compliance audits for TRSL. Internal audits are of considerable complexity given the overall IT infrastructure of TRSL and the numerous investment strategies in which TRSL employs, including alternative investments, hedge funds, derivatives, etc. The agency compliance audits are of considerable complexity and scope and are conducted throughout the State of Louisiana to determine whether employing agencies are in compliance with Louisiana Revised Statutes and TRSL Board policies and procedures.
This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and can be filled from this recruitment as an Auditor 1 , Auditor 2 or Auditor 3 depending on level of experience of the selected applicant. This vacancy may be filled as a Probation, Promotion, or Detail to Special Duty. Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a Probational Appointment.
