Overview:
AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)-Wonderful parents in the Rosedale neighborhood seek a FULL-TIME NANNY to help care for their kind and friendly 3-year-old girl. The position with slated to be 6 months in duration with the potential to extend long term. The hours are from 8/9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Parents are amicably divorced and share custody on an expanded standard custody schedule. They live 10 minutes from one another. Their daughter primarily stays with her mom, but spends Mondays and the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month, depending on what month the Friday falls on, with her dad at his home. The nanny will work at dad’s house each Monday and will pick her up from her dad’s Tuesday morning and take her to her mom’s house. The nanny will also be responsible for dropping her off at her dad’s on Fridays during the weekends she is with him. Mom has two small dogs in the home and dad has a German Shepherd. Must love dogs! They do not require care other than being let in and out on occasion.

Their daughter is chatty and sweet. She loves animals, playing outside, and doing arts and crafts. She typically wakes up between 7:30-8:30am and has breakfast. The nanny arrives and helps her get dressed, and ready for the day, takes her to a weekly music or gymnastics class, goes to the park/plans children’s activities, prepares lunch, and puts her down for a nap between 2:30-4:30pm. She has a snack when she wakes up and her parents arrive home at 5:30pm. Duties other than childcare include running occasional errands and doing the child’s laundry.

Parents seek a nanny who is kind, patient, and willing to plan activities (parks, children's museum, Toybrary, library visits, etc.), and play with their daughter. They would love for their nanny to have meetups and playdates with other nannies/children to socialize with their daughter. Must have a safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement will be provided) and be fully vaccinated for COVID. They have had the same nanny since their daughter was 3 months old and is only leaving to move out of state. They are a wonderful family that values their caregivers and truly treats them as family members.

Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is ideally on May 30th if not sooner to train with their current nanny.
