In-house Architectural Millwork Drafter for Commercial Projects
Jefferson Millwork and Design is a 30 year old award winning leader in the Commercial Millwork
Industry. Our Clients include Clark Construction, Davis Construction, and Gilbane among others.
Our recent and current projects include Smithsonian Institution African American Museum, National
Gallery of Art, and National Air and Space Museum. We also have ongoing work at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center and Cannon House Office Building. Other projects include law offices, hotels, and office buildings.
Job Description:
Provide highly detailed shop drawings for high end commercial millwork.
Duties include;
- Compilation of shop drawings reflecting plans, elevations, and details.
- Provide fabrication details including hardware specifications and installation methods.
- 3D modeling of parts and assemblies to interface with CNC Machinery.
- Meet with Project Managers and Installation teams.
- Attend site visits and document field conditions and dimensions.
- Review architectural drawings to streamline techniques and provide cost saving suggestions.
Eligibility
- 3 years experience in the millwork industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision. Solidworks experience a plus.
- Understanding of millwork hardware and materials.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and millwork interaction with other trades.
- Must be organized and be able to meet demanding deadlines

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
