POSITION: Automation Developer Internship

JCI’s Enterprise Solutions Automation COE (ACOE) is hiring talented developers to develop, test, and support automation systems that enable JCI to deliver valuable business outcomes. As an Automation developer Intern within ACOE, you will partner with other stakeholders on delivery of quality software systems. This role involves acting as part of a dynamic, cutting edge, global team which supports automation applications for the enterprise.

The successful intern will gain valuable experience in working in a diverse & distributed team environment, while also gaining exposure to the challenges of enterprise scale automation. The position gives real insight into, the operation of a large enterprise, how digital technologies can enable the enterprise and the personal qualities required to succeed in a career in Information Technology.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Designing and developing digital solutions (RPA, Virtual Assistants, Automations, APIs, ML, AI) Eliciting customer & user requirements Providing functional & data analysis Enable automated software testing, executing regression test cases, and creating technical documentation. Support the delivery of projects end to end. Participate in scheduling and delivery plans. Follows governance procedures in the delivery of services

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience\understanding of development any of following - RPA, Virtual Assistants, Power Platform, APIs, ML, AI Experience\understanding of agile methodologies Experience\understanding of SFDC tools – versioning control, testing tools etc Possess assertive outcome focused attitude Be creative, think outside the box and don’t be afraid to challenge the status quo Strong communication and reasoning skills. Capable or converting user/customer reasoning into requirements and desired outcomes. Open to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures
