Rosendahl Nextrom USA, a global leader in cable & wire and optical fiber production technologies, has an opening for an Automation & Service Engineer based out of our Claremont, North Carolina Location. Position will require travel >50% of the time in North American. Some travel to South America and Europe may be required. This position will function as the liaison between the Customer Service group and the customer by using expert process knowledge in the area of cable and optical fiber manufacturing. Especially important tasks are commissioning of automated systems, troubleshooting and problem solving, introducing new technology & products and providing necessary information on the use of the machinery.
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation; Must have 2-5 years of experience in the field of industrial automation and knowledge of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs and Drives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
