Job description
Technical Source is currently in search of a Automation Technician for our semiconductor manufacturing client located in the Cary, NC area. Qualified candidates will have experience programming and troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities of the Automation Technician include:
- Design and program Rockwell and Siemens automated control systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain, participate in start up and continuous improvement of automated controls and instrumentation of manufacturing and HVAC/Utility systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of automated control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Drives)
Qualifications of the Automation Technician include:
- 5+ years’ experience programming and troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems including extensive knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and instrumentation
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms
Compensation for the Automation Technician includes:
- Pay of $80,000 - $95,000 based on experience and fit
- Benefits, medical, dental, and vision offered
- No Corp to Corp or Visa sponsorships at this time
