Detail Specialist

The Automotive Detail Specialist position consists of washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, you may also wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines. Inside of the car, the detailer typically uses a vacuum to remove dirt and debris, cleans upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains. You may also use different kinds of dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles. It may also involve cleaning and removing any grease on engines or engine compartments. You will be required to wet sand and buff minor scratches, touch up paint as needed and other very specific vehicle repairs that our detail department may not be able to handle. You will also be required to assist the Detail Department in the event we have minimal staff. At times you will check in lot vehicles to ensure their is no damage from the carriers. Other duties may be required. This is a M-F 8-5 with occasional Saturdays required. Only qualified candidates should apply.

Requirements:
- Must possess technical knowledge and skill about auto detailing.
- Buffing and touch up is a required skill.
- Must have the ability to effectively use and operate basic mechanical equipment.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must to be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
