AutoSmart of Hamler, OH needs to hire a Service Advisor / Writer. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Service Advisor / Writer with a great attitude, people skills, and work ethic. Dealership experience is preferred, but if you have worked in workshops such as: Firestone, Valvoline, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Midas, etc. you may have the experience we require.

Responsibilities – Service Advisor / Writer:

• Greet customers, complete a thorough walk-around, and make customers feel welcome!
• Advise customers on needed/suggested services and costs, advice on any current special promotions available
• Write repair orders through our dealer management system
• Work with customers and technicians to identify required services using the vehicle's service history and prior recommendations
• Schedule appointments with customers as needed
• Give customer updates as needed
• Compute and communicate the cost of replacement parts and labor to customers
• Address customer's questions and needs promptly and professionally
• Ensure comprehensive re-delivery check of customer’s vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been completed as scheduled
• Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with the service manager
• Meet the dealership's standards for repair orders & production

Requirements – Service Advisor / Writer:

• Automotive Service Advisor and/or dealership experience preferred
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional personal appearance
• High CSI, attention to detail
• Self-motivated and good team player
